Hi, I am an Egyptian student looking to study in Moscow. I'm home schooled but my secondary education certificate are A levels. Does the university approve of home schooling and A levels as an equivalent for a school diploma?

Dear Marim!

You need to present EITHER certificate GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) with the results at least 2 exams passed and certificate of GCE Advanced Level (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) (A level) with the results at least 2 exams passed, OR certificate of GCE Advanced Level (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) (A level) with the results of 3 exams passed and certificate of GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) with the results of 1 exam passed.

Please note that the language of instruction in Moscow State University is Russian. In order to prepare for the studies in Russian language we recommend you to apply to the Institute of Russian Language and Culture (the former Preparatory Faculty): http://www.en.irlc.msu.ru/.
